Antifa

7/10

I was worried through the first two chapters as they were mostly a dry, disorganized 20th century history of various anti-fascist movements throughout Europe. (Hardly the stuff of handbooks.)

But starting from the chapter on modern, “pin stripe” fascism, I found the book incredibly timely and useful, not only with documentation of the recent history in anti-fascist efforts (most of which I had never heard of because they go massively underreported in our media), but also in theoretical discussion and praxis.

I’d recommend this to everyone, although I suspect the subject matter will turn off the people who most need to read it, who could probably be persuaded by it’s logical argumentation. The copy I read was borrowed, but I’ll be buying my own (in cash).
